Our Experience
30 years cumulative experience working for Health and Adult Services, Learning Disability Provision. Our skills include;
· Assessing your abilities and interests in order to provide activities which; meet your needs, are in appropriate steps and are suitably paced.
· Planning, resourcing and running a wide variety of educational and life skills based programs.
· Making activities and learning opportunities accessible and enjoyable.
· Reviewing and monitoring outcomes in order to make sure that the service we offer is helping you to achieve your goals and that we are building on the progress you make.
· Using opportunities as they arise to develop your confidence and skills.
· Planning and organising a wide variety of social and leisure based activities and facilitating community based outings and leisure pursuits.
· Supporting you in undertaking work tasks.
· Liaising with parents, carers and other professionals. Keeping everyone informed to ensure the best outcome for you.
· Awareness of and adherence to all appropriate policies and procedures; - confidentiality, risk assessment, health and safety, administering of medication and safeguarding vulnerable adults.
